Christmas at the Forum 2026 News and Media Releases

Christmas at the Forum Names Ronald McDonald House Maritimes as 2026 Charity Partner

Christmas at the Forum has named Ronald McDonald House Maritimes as its official charity partner for 2026. Guests buying tickets online can add a donation at checkout, with 100 per cent of contributions going to the charity.

Ronald McDonald House Maritimes provides accommodation and support to families from across Atlantic Canada whose children are receiving medical treatment in Halifax. For many of these families, staying close to their child means travelling hours from home, often for weeks at a time.

“Christmas at the Forum has always been about community,” said Chris Banks, president of Christmas at the Forum. “Giving our guests a chance to support families going through a difficult time felt like a natural addition to the event.”

Christmas at the Forum runs Nov. 5 to 8 at the Halifax Forum. Tickets are available at christmasattheforum.com.

Christmas at the Forum Extends Shopping Sessions to 2 Hours and 45 Minutes Following Visitor Feedback

Christmas at the Forum will run every 2026 session for 2 hours and 45 minutes, a change made in response to feedback from last year’s visitors.

The show introduced timed entry in 2025 to manage crowds. While the system improved flow through the halls, many returning guests told organizers their sessions felt rushed, leaving too little time to visit every booth.

Chris Banks, president of Christmas at the Forum, said the change came directly from guest feedback. “Our guests made their opinions known last year, and they were right,” he said. “Longer sessions mean guests don’t have to choose. They can simply enjoy their day.”

Nayya Pizza Partners with Christmas at the Forum to Offer Ticket Holders a Buy One, Get One Pizza Deal

Christmas at the Forum has announced a promotional partnership with Nayya Pizza & Grill for its 2026 event. Every ticket holder will receive free small garlic fingers and a buy one, get one free offer on a small or medium pizza, classic donair or poutine, redeemable at all eight Nayya locations across Nova Scotia.

The offer is provided when guests’ admission tickets are scanned at check in.

Banks said the partnership came down to shared values. “We look for partners who value local communities the same way our vendors do,” he said. “Nayya has built its name by being there for Nova Scotians, and that’s why they were the right fit for our event.”
